SALT LAKE CITY HEPATITIS C SUPPORT GROUP
Founded over three years ago, by our fearless leader, Amber Jarrett, Health Councilor at the Salt Lake Valley Health Department, along with less people than you could count on one hand. Salt Lake City's, let alone Utah's still one and only Hepatitis C Support group was born. The group met at The Health Department twice monthly and slowly grew at a steady rate. at present anywhere from 10 to 20 people attend group, for the mutual support of each other, fellowship, and sharing of experiences, literature, advice and compassion. Guest speakers from all facets of the Hep C community share medical issues, nutrition and their valuable information regarding treatment and on going research. The group has moved to more convent quarters on October 3rd 2006. Group meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. at: 1063 East 3300 South Salt Lake City, downstairs in the Board Room, Suite #102 There is ample parking in front and at the rear of the building but enter through the front, proceed downstairs and you will among fellow "Heppers". Your participation is kept confidential, we swept the building for bugs and it seems that the N.S.A has yet to intrude on us. There is coffee, drinks and munchies provided, bring treats if you wish. The group is open to anyone interested in attending, friends and family are encouraged to come as well. If you need help with transportation let us know and we will try to arrange car pools etc...
