HEPATITIS C AWARENESS AND ACTION FOUNDATION ,INC
INTRODUCTION Welcome to the always under construction web site for HCAAF! We are a tax exempt non-profit Foundation based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our Officers, Trustees and Volunteers represent a cross section of social diversity, profession and expertise, (not unlike those infected with Hepatitis C) we even went to the extreme including dreaded Attorneys and a CPA, all with one common goal: To raise the public consciousness of Hepatitis C. To promote testing for all people, especially those who never would think it possible for it to happen to them and those who are fearful of being stigmatized. IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN TESTED, GET TESTED!. Ignorance is not bliss. In the Salt Lake City Metro Area confidential testing is available at: The Salt Lake Valley Health Department: 534-4666 for $21.00 www.slvhealth.org The Utah AIDS Foundation offers Hep C testing every Monday night from 5:00-7:00 PM for $20.00, no appointment is needed. Located at 1408 South 1100 East in Salt Lake City.
